An easy hike that leads to the Rey Hut starting from Borgata Vazon (La Chardouse Hut). The starting point can be reached by car or with a walk of about two hours from the center of Oulx; the trail marker is number 750.

The path stays along the northern slope of Mount Cotolivier, always on the hillside, and with some ups and downs, it reaches the Rey Hut. A walk through a beautiful larch forest, which can also be done in winter with snowshoes (in winter, Borgata Vazon is only accessible on foot).
For those who want to increase the elevation gain, a detour is recommended that passes by the summit of Mount Cotolivier, a panoramic point overlooking the Cesana valley and Pic de Rochebrune
